Association “MIG Municipalities of Elena and Zlataritsa” notifies all candidate beneficiaries under sub-measures 6.4.1 “Investments in support of non-agricultural activities” and 6.4.2 “Investments in support of non-agricultural activities under the thematic sub-programme for the development of small farms”, that starting from 15.07.2019, the intensity of aid under the above-mentioned measures changes, namely: The intensity of aid under a tourism development project /construction and renovation of tourist sites and development of tourist services/ cannot exceed 5 percent of the total allowable costs.

Association “MIG Municipalities of Elena and Zlataritsa” organizes training on the topic “Preparation, application, implementation and reporting of projects to the Strategy for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications”
The team of the Association “MIG Municipalities of Elena and Zlataritsa” organizes training on the topic “Preparation, application, implementation and reporting of projects to the Strategy for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications” and invites participation to farmers, representatives of micro-enterprises in the field of production and services, people practicing a craft or free profession, as well as representatives of town halls, community centers, kindergartens, schools and non-governmental organizations, municipal and social institutions. The purpose of the training is to inform the interested parties and potential candidates under the Strategy for VOMR about the funding opportunities under the Program for the Development of Rural Areas 2014-2020, the eligibility of the candidates, the activities and costs, the new moments and the changes in the regulatory framework related to the preparation, application and evaluation of project proposals.
The training will take place on 15 and 16 November 2018 in the city of Elena from 10,00 hours in the theater hall of the Community Center – Elena, 25 “Pop Sava Katrafilov” Street, Elena municipality.
Any resident of Elena and Zlataritsa municipalities who is interested in participating can attend the training.

from the “MIG Municipalities of Elena and Zlataritsa” Association
On October 17 and 18, 2018, the Association “MIG municipalities Elena and Zlataritsa”, guided by the understanding of working in close cooperation with the local community, held information meetings in the town of Elena, the town of Zlataritsa, the villages of Bebrovo and Gorsko novo selo. The topics were related to popularizing the implementation of the Strategy for community-led local development on the territory of the Municipalities of Elena and Zlataritsa for the period 2014-2020 and specific activities for its implementation.
More than 120 representatives of various interested parties took part in the meetings – farmers, representatives of micro-enterprises in the field of production and services, people practicing a trade or free profession, as well as representatives of town halls, community centers, kindergartens, schools and non-governmental organizations, municipal and social institutions, local leaders and representatives of the general public. The attractive presentations were presented by Mr. Zdravko Sechkov, who introduced the attendees in detail to the application processes and answered the numerous questions of the participants. The expert of the association – Mrs. Nadezhda Stoyanova, reviewed the progress in the implementation of the activities and measures from the Strategy, which are and are yet to be open for application. She introduced the attendees to the possibility of potential beneficiaries participating in training for applying for measures from the Strategy, which will be held in November 2018.
A lively discussion led to the presentation of the possibilities for financing projects of NGOs and community centers related to the life and traditions of the local community, as well as the necessary activities to support these initiatives, using the capacities in different areas of the territory of the LAG.
Participants described the meetings as extremely beneficial.
The LAG team remains open to consideration and discussion of all ideas and questions arising in connection with the development of project proposals!
The information meetings are held in implementation of activities under the Agreement on the Implementation of the Strategy for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications No. 50-140/21.10.2016 under sub-measure 19.2 “Implementation of operations within strategies for Community-Led Local Development” of measure 19 “Community-Led Local Development” of the Program for the Development of Rural Areas for the period 2014-2020.

On September 12 and 13, 2017, in the Community Center of the town of Elena, the team of “MIG Municipalities of Elena and Zlataritsa” conducted trainings for local leaders on the topic “Preparation of applications for funding from the Strategy for Community-Led Local Development /BOMR/ 2014-2020.” under the Program for the Development of Rural Areas for the period 2014-2020. They took part in the training agricultural producers and representatives of the community centers, registered on the territory of the two municipalities. Attendees were introduced to filling in applications for assistance under sub-measures to be opened, the project selection procedure and practical guidance was given to those wishing to participate with project proposals. In the coming months, non-agricultural businesses and non-governmental organizations will be trained on the territory of the LAG.
