SNC “MIG MUNICIPALITIES OF ELENA AND ZLATARITSA” REPORT ITS ACTIVITIES IN 2017
On 01.02.2018 at 10.00 a.m. in the Plenary Hall in the building of the municipal administration in the city of Elena, a General reporting and election meeting of the non-profit association “MIG municipalities of Elena and Zlataritsa” was held. A report on the activities of the association in 2017 was presented at the meeting. The annual program was adopted, an amendment to the indicative annual work program /IGRP/ for accepting applications for assistance in connection with the implementation of the 2018 SVOMR of the Association “MIG Municipalities of Elena and Zlataritsa” and to the indicative schedule. The new member, Mr. Valeri Tonchev, who represents the “United for the City of Elena” association in the Management Board of the MIG, was accepted.
According to the adopted IGRP, it is suspended during the April-June period for the start of the acceptance of project proposals under the Strategy for community-led local development under the following sub-measures: 4.1 “Investments in agricultural holdings” and sub-measure 4.1.2. “Investments in agricultural holdings under the Thematic sub-programme for the development of small holdings”, sub-measure 4.2. Investments in processing/marketing of agricultural products and sub-measure 7.2 “Investments in the creation, improvement or expansion of all types of small-scale infrastructure”.
The second reception is expected to be in the period of September – November 2018 and will be according to the remaining four measures of the Local Development Strategy, namely: sub-measure 6.4.1 “Investments in support of non-agricultural activities”, sub-measure 6.4.2 “Investments in support of non-agricultural activities under the thematic sub-programme for the development of small farms”, sub-measure 7.5 “Investments for public use in infrastructure for recreation, tourism infrastructure” and sub-measure 7.6. “Research and investments related to maintaining, restoring and improving the cultural and natural heritage of villages”.
The maximum amount of the grant for project proposals under the strategy for the VOMR is BGN 1,955,830, and the deadline for the implementation of the activities on the projects financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development /EAFRD/ is June 30, 2023. The allocation of the budget for the VOMR strategy of the Association “MIG Municipalities of Elena and Zlataritsa” is in accordance with the four priorities of local development policy, namely – support of local entrepreneurship; diversification of the tourist offer; development of agriculture and processing industry and completion of public infrastructure. Funds are distributed between three measures and eight submeasures.
